Cletus (4999), Connecticut, USA Nov 16, 2008 Pours gold with a white head. Smells of straw, some apples, skunky. Tastes watery with some sweet sticky malt on the finish. First drain pour in a while. joss (3630), Garching b. München, Germany Oct 27, 2008 Green pale golden, no head.
Sugary nose, a bit like ethiopian honey wine funnily enough, just lighter. Very light bitterness. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jun 14, 2008 Courtesy of Philippe (Bov) Blond color, a lot of foam. Ordinary Lager, on the sweet side. Probably suitable only in the African weather, but not too bad. Gr0ve (1382), Oslo, Norway Mar 20, 2008 650 ml bottle, RBNAG07. Pale golden colour. Medium-sized coarse head that falls down quickly. Sharp metallic hop aroma. Light maltiness. Crisp hops. Light-bodied. Powdery texture. Very bland and industrial. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Dec 30, 2007 Bottle, 65cl at pre-RBNAG 07. Clear, pale golden beer with a minimal white head. Some fruityness in the aroma, slightly papery and with a very weak rubbery touch. Weak, fruity and slightly papery flavor, almost without finish. Thin and watery of course. Surely forgettable. Fun fact: Cote d’Ivoire is called Elfenbenskysten in Norwegian. (071102) Beer2000 (1775), Kristiansand, Norway Dec 28, 2007 650ml bottle @ RBNAG’07. Pale golden body with almost no head at all. Aroma is weak malty/grassy. Flavor is sweet and harsh with some kind of chemical taste. It’s thin, it’s boring but fun to have tasted a beer from a country you didn’t know exist. gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway Dec 9, 2007 Bottle at RBNAG 07. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt. Flavour is fruit, malt. Thin beer. tarjei (1741), Bryne, Norway Nov 6, 2007 65 cl bottle. Golden color, small white head. Sweet malt, some hops and fruit - and that´s it. (RBNAG’07 in Grimstad Nov. 3th.)
