Bottle, light straw colour with quite a bit of carbonation rising to a thick white head. Slight grainy malt aroma with a metallic touch. Sweet malt mixed with grassy hops gives an interesting flavour for a lager. Reasonably smooth throughout as well.

Not as bad as I had expected.Pleasant aroma upon opening with slight carbonation. As long as you are not expecting a lot this is quite refreshing.

Bottle, at Kookfest, September 2006. Very pale straw colour, with floaters - where did they come from? Yeasty touches on the aroma, but there’s some corn character too. Quite bready malt flavour. Grassy hops only come through late. Not too fizzy. More character than the average tropical lager but not exactly great.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, hops and slight maize. Flavour is the same. Surprisingly clean lager from Africa. Still boring...

Bottled. Pale golden color, small white head. Papery, cardboard malty, a bit harsh and unbalanced. Long harsh aftertaste.

Bottle @ Kookfest. Poor adjuncty aroma. A few floaters. Corny slight sweetness. Some hop in the finish. Just about drinkable and peversly interesting.

Kook’s Farewell Gathering - There Can Be Only One. Grassy, yeasty, petrol. Interesting, but not especially pleasant.

Bottle at Kook’s Leaving Do at Chris_o’s. Moroccan from Casablanca. Pale gold, thin white head and small white floaters. Smells like a premium pale gold lager. Staleish malt, maybe some adjuncts. Not too bad in the mouth, but finish isn’t great. Crisp, but not a lot of hop. But not awful. Some drinkability.
