Commercial Description:
Wit means “white” and is pronounced “VIT.” Wit is the wheat beer of Belgium. This beer is a very light, slightly spiced, and enjoyable summer beer. Our version is made with unmalted wheat and a special Belgian yeast strain that gives the beer a white cloudy appearance when it is not filtered out. Wit beer has a small addition of bitter orange peel and corriander seeds. The alcohol is 4.1% and hop bitterness is 13 BU's.

On tap, cask conditioned at the brewpub. Clear golden in color, not white or cloudy. Lemon spiciness present with some clove scent. Tastes like a weizen. Pepper and coriander flavors. A good beer, but not to style.
