Commercial Description:
Light blonde in color and very lightly hopped for a crisp and refreshing taste that is easy to drink. Our version has plenty of Greman Tettnang hops for added flavor, with no perception of bitterness. This is an old style of beer that originated in America in the late 1800's as an ale version of cream lager that was popular in Europe at that time. Our version is 4.8% ABV and hopped to 20 BU's (bitterness units).

Cleans food well. Listed as their "anniversary" ale. Clean, refreshing, sweet - not much nose though. Tastes almost like a pale ale.

Pours hazy golden, with a small white head. Nice hoppy aroma, with a sweet maltiness. Flavor is sweet with a nice hoppy finish. Not your typical cream ale, but nice.

Not sure if this was the same cream ale (this was called the Anniversery Cream Ale, but I am pretty sure it was the same). Tasted almost skunky, but with a smoother finish than a budweiser. Served in a plastic cup so not a lot I can say about the appearance,

Brewpub visit 11/04 .. Bright yellow with a creamy milky head. Very milky, yet light consistency. Sweet malty and, well ... sweet and creamy. True to style.
