Aggie80 (688), Michigan, USA Jun 30, 2003 White head and a little lacing. Golden color with a slightly sweet smell. Smooth going down. Vacation 03 Sledge Jr (2720), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Dec 2, 2005 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear bright golden color with a quickly dying white head. Has an excellent honey favor that I really enjoyed. Beer finishes with a discernable wheat flavor. Because the hop content is rather low, this makes for a great dessert beer, although it is by no means overly sweet. DrnkMcDermott (1591), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Aug 8, 2007 Draft sampler, 4 Aug. 07. Ah, the end of a long day of sampling. Smell is sweetly malty, but also slightly sweaty. As the last of a six sampler tray, this one’s head is long gone now. Clear yellow color, paler than most American wheats. Honey sweetness, but not overly done. That distinct impression of honey can be quite enough. Goes down nicely to end the day. Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA Dec 16, 2005 tap at brewpub-pours bright yellow with a small white head. some small bubbles floating to the surface. fairly sweet, honeysuckle, flowery (daisys) aroma. flavors show the sweet honey and some nicely toasted pale malt notes. not really husky and thats a good thing here. for a filtered beer, this has alot of flavor. palate is full and lush for the style. a bit acidic on the finish with alot of dryness. really a decent american wheat from a brewpub. Burrobuns (73), Columbia, Missouri, USA Jun 23, 2007 Not a ton of aroma. Pretty average appearance, although nice color. Nice sweet flavor with light floral tones. Pretty good wheat beer.
