| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 6, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with rising bubbles and a medium thin white head that burns away steadily. Thin sheet of lace. The aroma is sweet honey and malt with a touch of wheat. Light body with flavors of toasted malt and honey, plus a touch of Lager-like hops. The finish is sweet honey with a wheaty aftertaste. Pretty run-of-the-mill overall. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 30, 2008 This is a basic and simple beer. Having said that it is still clean and well balanced, very easy to drink, and light enough to be thirst quenching on a hot summer day. The honey gives a light sweetness, and a bit of wheaty cereal maltiness. Still a bit too thin in the finish. DrnkMcDermott (1862), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2007 Draft sampler, 4 Aug. 07. Ah, the end of a long day of sampling. Smell is sweetly malty, but also slightly sweaty. As the last of a six sampler tray, this one’s head is long gone now. Clear yellow color, paler than most American wheats. Honey sweetness, but not overly done. That distinct impression of honey can be quite enough. Goes down nicely to end the day. Burrobuns (81), Columbia, Missouri, USA
