Commercial Description:
Angry Planet is made with organic American 2-row, Cara- mel 60 and Munich malts and Cascade hops. An aroma of citrus and light toast. A nice flavorful punch of citrus hop is balanced by slight caramel sweetness and plays off on the hop bitterness.
Editor's note: This is an organic pale ale.

Bottle… Mostly clear golden ale with a huge, frothy, off-white head. Great retention. Big-time floral, citrusy, toffee-like nose. Medium-bodied with Champagne-like carbonation. Leans way onto the sweet side of balance, offering caramel and toffee – light citric bitterness. The lengthy finish is sweet, and then astringent and dry. Bottle provided by cmillward. Thanks Chris!

Bomber courtesy of MatSciGuy. Pours copper with a nice off white head. Smells of resin, caramel, spice, earthy. Tastes bitter and resiny with some citrus elements and a caramel finish. Decent.

Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus, fruity, and yeasty aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Re-Rate: Sampled on draught at the Autumn Brew Review 2007 in Minneapolis, MN. Pours a semi-clear reddish amber brew with a decent off-white head that slowly dissolves with good retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, citrus peel, a touch of lemon and flowery hops. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, orange peel and a decent hop bitter throughout. Finish is slightly bitter at first and then a orange/citrus aftertaste. Hard to even tell this is an organic brew.

First Rating: On draught at the Happy Gnome. Infected beer line.

On-tap at Barley John’s. Was presented as an IPA,good IBU and lots of caramel and marmelade, we know now it is a pale. Wierd funky. Yellow with a little white head and spider lace. Drying. Average mouthfeel at best and an average beer. I could drink it once but not too tasty.

American Pale Ale #100. First tapping at the Flat Earth Open House. Dark copper color with no head. Aroma of orange and citrus-heavy hops with a strong floral element. The floral carries into the flavor nicely. Slight caramel malt and interestingly enough, some honey as well. One of the best organics I’ve had!

Bomber poured a clear copper with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of earthiness, carmel, light orange and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of earthiness, pine, citrus and light carmel with a smooth lightly bitter finish.

Lakewood, Oh. - Rozi’s Fine Wines - 22 oz bomber. Nice medium copper pour with a thick off-white head that leaves excellent sticky lacing. Fresh floral and spruce aroma. Flavor has some nice subtle citrusy accents with some nectarine hints and a touch of mint with a nutty back end. Bit of a spritzy mouthfeel for an APA, but does not diminish it, Will keep my eye out for this new brewer from St. Paul.
