Commercial Description:
Flat Earth Pale Ale is a Belgian pale ale. Inspired by beers like Orval and Rare Vos. Made with imported Belgian malt and a Belgian yeast strain. Our Belgian pale ale has a sweet malt aroma with traces of orange, plum and pear. Its complex malt backbone of biscuit and hints of toast to compliment the spiciness of the yeast. We hope you enjoy the fresh "Belgian" beer.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a slowly collapsing off-white head. Aroma is peppery and dry brett. Light milky and wooden note. Dry brett and mild malty flavoured, light spiced peppery. Light yeasty autolysis note. Ends dry and wooden brettish.

Every flat earth brew I’ve had up to this point have been a major dissapointment. This one easily is the best i’ve had. Cloudy copper with a fizzy white head. A slight grassy ale nose with some hops to the flavor. Nothing special by any means.

Refreshing. Slightly malty. Slightly fruity IPA. Picked up in MN and forgot to drink it for a month or two. Decent all around.

A gusher...nose is nice wheat, hay and a nice yeasty mustiness. Flavor is heavy vegetal maltiness with a lot of sweetness and an overrriding babyfood taste. The Malt asaults on the palate and very little bitter/spicy/sour to balance. Cold, it’s OK, as it warms, the sweetness and vegetable profile is overwhelming.

Cloudy, golden yellow on the pour with a 1 inch head. Good carbonation holds the head. Wheaty, grassy aroma, thats not real strong. Flavor is mild, sweet, belgian yeast, and a little honey. Mouthfeel is a little rough. Burns a little on the finish. kind of an abrupt, rude finish.

22 oz. bottle acquired via trade with tennisjoel. Copper/rust colored pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, soap, and flowers. Belgian yeast flavor with a very subtle note of grassy hops. Drinkable but nothing spectacular.

Dark golden color, not much aroma. Standard Belgian taste to it, nothing special. Not a bad beer but not a great one in my opinion.

9/19/2008: Flat Earth Belgian Style Pale Ale pours coppery orange with not much head. It has a spicy aroma with some sort of grain. This beer is medium-light in body and tastes toasty and lightly fruity with some biscuit. It is soft on the palate by watery. Overall it this beer is somewhat bland.

1 pint 6 fl. oz. bottle. Rating #91 for this beer.
