Commercial Description:
Flat Earth Pale Ale is a Belgian pale ale. Inspired by beers like Orval and Rare Vos. Made with imported Belgian malt and a Belgian yeast strain. Our Belgian pale ale has a sweet malt aroma with traces of orange, plum and pear. Its complex malt backbone of biscuit and hints of toast to compliment the spiciness of the yeast. We hope you enjoy the fresh "Belgian" beer.

Pre Tasting 08 PP Belgian Fest w/ my girlfriend Cyn, Bartzilla and Galtscat. Bomber via Galtscat. Pours orange with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is sweet light. Taste is sweet and light hopped and has some bite. I really like this as a session belgian pale.

Pour is golden orange with a big white head. Aroma is sour, spicy and fruity with belgian yeast as well. Flavor is spicy, slightly bitter, yeasty and a little mettalic. Decent drinker.

Pours a nice copper color with some solid head. Aroma is of dark, wet fruits - grapes, plums - as well as some mild but spicy hops. The flavor is similar with the fruitiness coming through more than the hops. The mouthefeel is very nice. This beer fills the mouth nicely, and is quite smooth. The finish leaves a bit to be desired as the aftertaste leaves some hints of vomit (this sounds terrible - it isn’t that bad, it’s just not what I look for in a great micro) , but overall this is a very drinkable beer.

Bottle... Clear amber ale with a huge, rocky/wispy, off-white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma consists of spicy, peppery hops, mildew and aged paper with a rumor of caramel. Medium-bodied with spritzy carbonation. Low to moderate sweetness and moderate to medium bitterness. Fuzzy fruit and freshly baked white bread. Mid-length, crisp, lightly bitter, mildly sweet finish.

Crystal clear copper body with a small off-white head. Heavy grainy and grassy hop aroma with light caramel. Grainy flavor, light grassy and some floral hops. Medium body with moderate carbonation and a grainy finish.

Poured a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Doughy, yeasty and sweet aroma. The flavor was yeasty as well with a mild hop note to it. Medium bodied.

Thanks to Secret Santa for this one! Very clear orangish reddish amber, very slight head. Aroma of earthy and floral hops, some yeast perfume. Flavor is sort of earthy and some malt, a bit of husk, a touch of floral hops. It is overall Belgian in nature. But in the end, things just didn’t quite hang together here.

Courtesy of Stine. Clear amber body with a tiny white head. Sweet and fruity nose with prunes, grapes, herbs and toffee. The flavor is lightly sweet with raisins, plums and cotton candy. Medium body is soft with very light carbonation.
