Flat Earth Cygnus X-1 Freewill Porter

Sampled via growler at the Flat Earth brewery in St Paul, Minnesota. Pours a dark cola brown brew with a fast dissolving creamy light beige head that dissipates to a fine film. Aroma of toasted dark malt, pure vanilla bean extract, a touch of dark chocolate, coffee and a touch of toffee. Taste is smooth, creamy with an over the top vanilla extract and bean flavor that really stands out. Finish is smooth at first and then a dry vanilla bite aftertaste that lingers after the finish with a soft vanilla flavor. A multi-personality porter over all.
