Commercial Description:
UFO experts claim that this element combined with another element make UFOs fly. A true American style beer made with lager yeast fermented at warmer ale temperatures gives this beer a slight fruity character yet remains crisp and refreshing. What kind of beer is it? It depends on whom you ask. Some will call it a West Coast lager, some a California Common and other still will say amber hybrid. We hopped this beer with four different west coast varieties of hops, Northern Brewer, Cluster, Simcoe and Mt. Hood.

22oz bottle. Amber honey colored body, full clarity, with a sticky white head. Inviting nose full of red apple and bread-centered yeast esters... some butter and some fusel alcohol but both of these are quite faint... the distinct aroma and flavor of fresh dough and apple cobbler is very nice, and the body is appropriately snappy and dense. For whatever reason, this comes off very well, very close to fresh Anchor Steam. Did I get a good batch or fresh bottle, or am I just off-kilter here?

Bomber, a bonus from a trade a while back. Pours orange with a 3 finger puffy tan head. Nose is slightly malty. Taste is light and fragrant and ok, not as good as other Flat Earth that I’ve had.

Bomber pours a amber-copper colour with a thick tight off white head. Aroma is biscuity malts with an earthy yeast tone and a slight orange peel fruitiness. Flavour is medium bodied bready malt with a light tartness to it.

Re-rating this after tasting a recent bottle. I think it’s developing nicely. Pours a very pale gold. Lots of malt flavor. Semi-sweet with a dry finish. I’m not sure I’d call it a California Common, but it’s a very drinkable lager.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a dense off-white head. Lightly sweet citrusy nose. Medium body with some maltiness and lightly tart citrus. The finish a rather hoppy. Mostly reminds me of a decent German Zwickl. 260708

A bit of hops and malt otherwise the aroma is pretty much like a pilsner. flavor is the same; malty with notes of hops.
