Commercial Description:
Ovni Ale has a substantial and complex malt profile with flavors of toffee and caramel and a restrained hop bitterness. The beer is very smooth and deceptive at 7.1% ABV. Brewed in the spring to get you through the summer. The high amount of carbonation keeps this beer light on the palette and refreshing.

[2424-20090807] 1pt6floz bottle. Spruce yeast aroma. Hazy, brown body with a quick foamy off-white head. Sour flavour up front follows with a long yeasty vinegar and finishes almost sweetly. Medium body is sour. Really interesting.

2008-08-07. Hazy dark amber brown body with a modest off white head. Aroma is lightly fruit with a very light funky yeast character. (6+) Flavour is a bit sour and lightly funky, odd fruit character, mild malts, tangy finish. Possibly off or just odd? Bottle, Shared at Derek’s

Bottle as an extra in trade from MatSciGuy. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy copper color with big fizzy beige head. Smell is dusty and faint malt. Taste is sour in an infected bad way. Lactic, and sour and just bad, unfortunately. Fizzy mouthfeel and medium bodied.

Bottle, from Jimbo. Darker pour than I expected. Super easy drinker, with lots of spices and some tartness on the finish. Tasty and refreshing. Would make a nice summer beer.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a slightly murky brown with an off-white head that goes. Aroma of hay, caramel and pepper. Taste is nuts, cantalope rind and green raisins, with a bit of spice in the finish. Lightly fizzy with a dryish mouthfeel.
