| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 25, 2008 Tap. Sliglty sweet, with a moderate malty base. Very light on the pallate with a muted hop aspect there. A little to bland for me. "There was also some old dried flowers and library books" WTF? When you smell library books in your beer, its time to call it a night. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2008 Bottled. Deep garnet body with a light khaki head. The aroma was dusty with fresh grain. There was also some old dried flowers and library books. The taste was lightly sweet kettle corn with some dusty hay notes. There was also a little bit of fall leaves. A solid and well made brew. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Aroma of warm, salty, aged gouda. Lightly sweet malt and yeast, and a lacing head. Unusual for sure, and it is cool they have tried this rare style. BustedFlat (553), Edina, Minnesota, USA

Re-rate from a bottle. This time the taste was much more sour with fruity notes. Not as much malt as I remember and not as good as on tap.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 22, 2008 Deep nice looking reddish orange color with a decent size foamy head. Flavor is strongly malt, some toffee, just a bit sweet. Hops are mild and relegated to the background. Medium to light bodied, well carbonated. I’m digging this beer, seems to be one of the better ones made by Flat Earth so far. Tripplebrew (493), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA
