drfabulous (1212), Columbia, Missouri, USA Sep 8, 2009 On tap at Herb and Stub where it was described as "apricot." I’m assuming this is the same beer. Sweet like apricot. Ok. BDR (2139), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Jul 4, 2009 Growler at Flat Earth. A solid apricot aroma with mild yeast and malt. Not as much apricot in the body as I would have liked but still very tasty. Faint head and cloudy orange color. Very tasty. bluemooner (229), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Jun 30, 2009 Pours a slightly cloudy orange hue with a thin off-white head which disolves to a film. Aroma is of dried apricots and malts. Tastes strongly of apricots with some malts and a bit of bitterness to it. Sweet fruity finish. Not bad. BVery (446), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA Jun 29, 2009 TAP: pale orange pour, nose of malt and apricot. More apricot on taste, but not overly sweet. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Apr 17, 2009 Sampled at the brewery’s growler sale event at the Flat Earth brewery. Poured by the brewmaster himself, semi-hazy orange amber brew with a quick dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a fine film and thin white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of unmistakable California dried apricots, which is a tad sweeter than the Mediterranean variety, multi-grain malt, and a touch of citrus zest. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of sourdough bread, dried apricots, citrus zest and a touch of honey. Finish is semi-sweet with a slight stronger apricot aftertaste than barley malt. A nice fruit beer without the overly-sweet character. DalzAle (476), Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA Apr 11, 2009 Growler. Clear light pumpkin colored pour, a little carbonation and plenty of sweet apricot aroma. Flavor was initially bitter malt, then followed by some mild apricot. Aftertaste didn’t sit that well and just left me wishing this was a little sweeter. A decent beer, I’ll probably give this one another chance in a few months and re-rate.
