12 oz from Liquor Depot, Tampa. Pours caramel brown with an off-white head. Nose is malt, cocoa, bread, earth, and some bitterness. Flavor is similar with malt, bitter cocoa, bread, and some bitterness. Blah overall, but minimal standard lager finish. Interesting beer and sweet 12oz swing top.

Bottle with nice swing top. Pours medium brown with a large off white head. Aroma of bready malt. Flavor is of moderately roasted malt, some nuts, maybe pumpernickel. Beer is sweet, but not overly so. Nice, but not remarkable -- kind of plain. Could drink several of these, I would think.

Clear copper kettle color with a tan head. Nutty, roasty sweet bread aromas. Light roasty malt flavors with sweetbread and pumpernickle bread flavors.

0,3 L beugelfles. Lekkere dunkel. gaat een beetje in de richting van een guinness.

Nice beer. Got this bottle a couple of weeks ago at Surdyk’s in Minneapolis. Opened with a rousing POP and poured with a nice foamy, frothy tan head and some lace. Head mostly settled down soon. Color is clear dark amber - brown with some dark red orange highlights. Aroma was dark malt, cocoa, earth, and a little roastiness. Flavor is about the same and well balanced. Not much sweetness nor too much of anything, really. Body is nice and so is carbonation. Real easy drinking beer. Nice clean finish. Definitely a session.

This beers flip top opened with a pop & I am not trying to rhyme. It is amber color with a nice foamy head. The aroma is malty. The taste is very clean tasting with a good mouthfeel that that has a dash of chocolate in the finish.

There’s something about the smell and aftertaste that doesn’t agree with me. I can’t pinpoint it.

Nice aroma. Caramel malt, similar to pre-mash cereal. Nice head, but no carbonation at all after pouring. On palate nuts and caramel, but the bitterness becomes more persisten, and the rest of the flavour gets weaker. Average beer.
