Got this bottle a few weeks ago at Surdyk’s in Minneapolis. Poured with a medium, off-white head with a little lace. Color is a slightly tarnished, clear brass. Aroma was very nice: reminded me of walking by our local regional brewery - of cooking malt and a little hops. Fresh. Flavor’s the same plus some extra sweetness, heavy grain flavor with a little bread dough. Good body from all the malt. Decent carbonation. Finish is short to medium and like the flavor of eating malted grain. Not bad, but a little too much simple malt flavor for my taste.

Swing-top bottle. Sun-dried straw-golden color with very few bubbles. Diminishing lather head. Sweet nutty, grainy scent with some grassy hop presence. The flavor is fresh grainy with bold corny sweetness and medium, grassy hop spiciness. Light to medium bodied with typical harsh carbonation level. Better that expected, but still not my kind of brew.

0.33 flip-top. Pale, golden colour, quickly collapseing head, average carbonation. Watery-bitter smell, taste is bitter, sharp. Medium bitter flavour, hoppy finish. Average lager/pils.

well the date on the bottle says best by 11-30-09, and its 11-28-09 but I would say this bottle has gone bad, will need to re-rate with a fresher bottle. At least I hope thats the case cause it taste like sweet metallic vineger and onion.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Grainy dry some light floral hops, cardboard paper, apple cider grass. Eh what a mess.

Hazy body, head dissappears quickly, and the rest of the beer is very thin. Good carbonation and bitterness, but there are no flavors on palate besides a very basic and hard to find fruit. It’s better than most macro lagers, but not too much

Flip-top bottle (BB 04/2010). Yellow color, small steady white head. Skunky nose with cardboard and Indian lager - gasoline-like nose. Flavor is very unoffensive - some grassy (a bit skunky) notes and sweet maltyness with weak palate.
