Bottle. Poured a golden straw color with a nice fluffy white head that left a good lacing on my glass. Slightly sweet aroma of pale malts with a bit of hop presense. Good clean flavor of malt with not as much bitterness as most German pils. Nice, smooth palate to make this another easy-drinking German pils. Not bad.

Oct 22, 2008 Big offwhite lasting head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Light rubbery grassy aroma with malty notes. Dryish-sweetish chalky grassy herbal taste, quite harmonic, with caramel notes. Faintly harsh. Mid-bodied. Bitterish dandelion and caramel aftertaste with lemony notes. Not bad. (0.5l bottle, Rewe supermarket, Leipzig.)

Oct 22, 2008 (bottle) pours the palest golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of grainy pale malts, herbal hops and light cornflakes. flavour is heavy pale malts over a robust, herbal hoppy backdrop. medium body with strong carbonation and a light bitter finish.

Oct 8, 2008 Yellow straw color. Big soapy white head. Nose is salt, sweat, corn cheese, bread, yeast. Taste: grass, skunk, paper, bitter finish. Stick around decent time with a moderate mouthfeel. Blah.

Oct 7, 2008 Bottle from ilovedarkbeere. Pours with a decently sized white head that sticks for a while covering a clear yellow body. Aroma of corn, gras, and salt, with a decent amount of salt and diacetyl. Taste is watere, corn and a bit of corn with grass clippings and garden weeds. Fizzy.
