Reddish copper color out of the bottle with thin, foamy tan head. Grainy malt nose with some lactic sour notes. Sweet white sugar water flavor with some nuttiness, burnt caramel and a little bit of that off sour tang. A little thin and too sweet for me.

This brew pours a dark amber color with a medium and somewhat fizzy tan head that burns away steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Roasted nuts and malt in the nose. Medium, smooth body with flavors of roasted malt, caramel and nuts. Mild hops at times too. The finish is mostly sweet malt with a touch of hops. Pretty average overall.

Bottle. Dark copper body that approaches brown. It has a light khaki head. The aroma has some light roasted peanuts with a some toffee. The taste has some rich peanuts and caramel. There is a decent roasted finish. A little bit of a tangy finish that is almost like some old orange juice. Bland more than anything.

12oz bottle, no date. Clear orange red with a one finger yellowish white head, fair retention. Toasted malts and cereal grain up front with hints of vanilla. Flavor was mainly corn with some papery oxidation. A bit of toasted malts is still in there. Semi dry finish with minimal bitterness. Low carbonation with a light body. Add another stinker for tonight.

Draft sample at MBGF07. Poured clear copper color with a medium fizzy off-white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate sweet earthy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.
