JagerQueen (123), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jul 3, 2004 Draft. Pours the color of murky apple juice, amber and cloudy. No head (but I am not sure how long it had been in between the pour and the waitress bringing it to the table), slight lacing along the top. Aroma is sickly sweet, apples and sugar. Taste is similar, cloying and sweet-full of jolly rancher apple flavoring mixed with artificial sweetness. A little plastic. It’s drinkable, but not one of my favorites.
Lilywhite (3), Preston, Lancashire, England does not count Oct 5, 2008 From the bottle. Pale yellow appearance but smells so nice. Lovely yummy apples. Very sweet but not too undrinkable. thebeertourist (1889), Oslo, Norway Sep 27, 2008 Bottle. Hazy, yellow-golden with a medium white head. Sweet apples aroma. In the mouth things turn even more sugary, almost sirupy. Not much here to remind you of a beer, but it was not undrinkable. thewolf (3963), Kolding, Denmark Sep 20, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Haus der 131 Biere.<br />
Pours hazy pale yellow with a nice, frothy, white head. Aroma has apples and a lot of sugar. Pretty thin mouthfeel. Super-sweet apple juice flavour. Far too sweet. harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 20, 2008 Bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy pale gold, thin white. Green apple aroma and then so wrong in the mouth. Sweetish green skin apple. Just a bit too sweet. 17thfloor (728), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 19, 2008 Pours a hazy yellow golden with a small frothy white head. Strong aroma of sweet green apple, cinnamon and mildew. Yea... apple doesn’t work quite as well as raspberry. Some sour apple, cinnamon... sugary sweet... and tastes like potpourri... which is not a good thing. Really funky off aftertaste.
