Bov (5403), Bienne, Switzerland Oct 22, 2009 courtesy of Allen - pours a hazy blond colour with a bright and long lasting white head; estery and yeasty aroma with notes of pear, candi sugar and solvant; fizzy palate, overcarbonated; very sweet and sticky; good malt body, creamy and elusive finish with yeasty notes and residual sweetness DKthe13 (52), Netherlands Oct 21, 2009 Updated: Oct 22, 2009Clear golden blond pale with big foamy head. The foam contains big bubbels, smell copper-like and is very white. The smell is alcohol combined with herbs, as coriander and citrus. In mouth lot’s of carbonation and a some hopbitterness. (it’s the "harsch hop" bitterness, not very pleasant). Aftertaste is alcohol with a little sugar. Simple brew with a lot to discuss about. (looks a lot like Affligem Blond) beelsebob (17), Antwerpen, Belgium Jun 17, 2009 Had a very bitter anistheticy taste to it. The feel in the mouth was rather dull. On the plus side, has a rather beautiful colour and head. Overall, very disapointing NoiZe (1288), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands Mar 16, 2009 Golden colored brew. Aroma is sweet, yeasty and spicy. Flavor is sweet and spicy, some anise. Some citric and carbonation. Spicy aftertaste. Could use some less spices and more yeast. altonbrownd (1862), Amsterdam, Netherlands Jan 24, 2009 Bottle at home. Golden body, large foam. Spicy nose. Light and thing composition. Some citrus in the taste. Fine enough.
