jbrus (4271), Delft, Netherlands Jul 17, 2004 Sweet citrus/grapefruit aroma. Golden color, large white head, very nice lace. Sweet, hint of citric sourness, medium bitter, citrus flavors, quite full, smooth, little dry. JorisPPattyn (4625), Antwerpen, Belgium Oct 3, 2003 Orange gold. Huge, dense white head, good lace. Very yeasty, bready nose and orangezeste. Very dry, very citrussy (orange- or lemonzeste). Flowery bitterness and dryness go all to the end. Medium bodied, dryness makes it seem less (high attenuation). Aftertaste gives some yeast again, and just a touch of liquorice. This is one hell of a dry s... It isn't bad, considering all - had it combined (after tasting) with mussels - great. lachesis (759), St Idesbald, Belgium Apr 4, 2005 From a 75cl bottle, Clear warm-golden color with orange shine and with a nice and creamy off white head. Dry-malty and yeasty nose with herbal accents and touches of orange-zest. Faint fizzy touch on the tongue with a medium body. Mouyhfeel is smooth, light sweet, and with a well integrated bitterness. Afthertaste is light malty with hints of white fruits, some cookies and a fine bitterness in the end. Nice but not great. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 24, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Yellowish golden, decent fluffy head. Slightly flowery, fresh nose. Lots of carbonation but little malt or hops for that matter. Still a pleasant very drinkable blonde ale - although it lacks som refinement. 030695
