Bottle, pours brown with shades of red...a nice tan head. Smells sweet and spicey, really big aroma with some cinnemon. Taste is nice and sweet with a light malt backround giving way to a nice bitterness. The sweetness seems to fade to bitter and slightly sour. Very nice balance. Finishes with a light alcohol burn. Good stuff!

Ruby body with a fluffy off-white head. Strong malty aroma, sweet fruits & caramel. Sweet malty flavour with a liquorice bitter finish. Creamy textured.

This beer has a pleasant hoppy aroma, a nice head, and a good rich taste. It tastes more like you might expect a blonde to taste, but that’s all good for me.

Amber color with beige and lasting head. Fruity strawberry aroma. Caramel flavor, ends with burned sugar. Ending is also smoky with strong hops, also some alcohol gives nice kick. Very dimensional brew, aroma mild when comparing to flavor.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours brown with a small off-white head and a thin sweet smell. Flavor is strongly sweet, malty (seems there are roasted malts in it too), caramel and brown sugar. Some spices, some bitter hops, some chocolate, I really like it. The flavor reminds of Rochefort 6. Nice hoppy, roasted finish. I really like it

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark amber, close to being brown. Large, off-white head. Some sweetish, slightly chocolatey malt-notes. Perhaps also a hint of licorice. Very smooth and delicious. A nice dubbel, although it’s just a supermarket-brand. 160696

Amber and tall head. It has the fruity aroma of a tripel, but clear looks like a dubbel. Flavor is sweet fruit and light malt with a dry, salthy finish. Good palate. Why is this rated so low?

2008-03-08. Dark amber body with a good sized beige head. Dusty malt aroma, tangy malt. Sweet tangy malt flavour, light fruity notes, sugars. Slightly fuller than average palate is quite effervescent. (3+) Decent, average Belgian.
Bottle from Delhaize, last minute sampling session at my hostel, Brussels
