Jul 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark amber with a big beige head. Aroma is sweet malty with some spices. Flavour is sugary with some spices and dark fruits.

Mar 17, 2008 2008-03-08. Dark amber brown body with a good sized beige head. Looks a lot like the Florival brune, and tastes similar as well. Sweet aroma with more of the same tangy malt as the Brune, light spice and sugary notes. Flavour is predominantly tangy caramel and sugars, sweet malt. Very very light spice. Average palate is not quite medium, smooth and effervescent. (3+)

Dec 25, 2007 33 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours golden brown with a lacing light orange head. Aroma is sweet caramel malty with a mild spice note. Flavour is sweet caramel malt with a lingering spice note. Finish is mild spiced and soft malty. Lovely.

Rich amber colour with a decent beige head. Sweet yeasty aroma with caramel and spice. Similar flavour with bread, earth and fairly clear alcohol.

Dec 20, 2007 Bottled. Rubyish brown colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, alcohol and sweet malts. Flavour is sweet caramel malts along with some mild spicing and alcohol.
