Dec 25, 2007 33 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours golden brown with a lacing light orange head. Aroma is sweet caramel malty with a mild spice note. Flavour is sweet caramel malt with a lingering spice note. Finish is mild spiced and soft malty. Lovely.

Nov 26, 2002 Nose of caramalts indeed, also marzipan and walnutoil. Taste rather sweet, then becoming quite bitter (burnt malts, few hops detectable). Fizzy mouthfeel and bitterness disappears to lingering sweetness. Another ’special’ brew for a marketchain, X-mas issue.
