Thick hazy amber with a nice almost white head that is sticky and thick. Small little lacing. Smell is light hops - earthy with a touch of citris, just a bit too light for me. Flavor is big oranges and overall citris, very enjoyable. Nice sweet and bitter rind flavor in the finish. It is exactly what I was wanting. Mouthfeel is nice and medium bodied. Overall, I’d definitely have again.

Pours a thick hazy honey color with a lasting offwhite head. Smell is sweet, not really hoppy at all, fruity, and is almost unappealing for an IPA actually. Funky, sweaty, sweet tea like aroma. Taste is a bit sweet with a nice creamy body and a light to moderate short lived hop bitterness behind it. Starts smooth and finished bitter with some citrus like orange rind. Tastes better than it smells, luckily and has a pretty nice sweet and bitter orange flavor. Pretty solid. Good mouthfeel and carbonation like most of their IPAs.

Thanks to valpoaj for this bomber - turbid orange beer, with and sticky, soapy lacing - very tangy citrus aroma, with an almost wheaty character to it - kind of a lemony tang to the flavor, which compliments the strong, citrusy hops - the sweetness is on the high side for the style, but given its slightly higher adv, it’s forgivable - plus it seems to work with the fruity character - another nice one from flossmoor.

Thanks to notalush. Deep orange beer with a thin white head. Very cloudy. Aroma is really interesting. Soft and loaded with cologne and bright zesty characters. Lemon verbena, lemon grass and a touch of lime zest as well. Flavour is very soft and fruity with a great balance of soft sweet malt and bright citrusy hoppiness. It finishes with a nice fruitiness and a bright herbal flavour. Citrusy and grassy with a lingering cologne-like flavour. Soft bitterness. Really impressive IPA.

Bomber. Pours hazy dark orange with medium cream head. Aroma is hops, orange, candied sugar, and caramel malts. Flavor is hops, caramel malts, oranges, toffee, and other citrus flavor. Nice malt backbone that provides great balance. Really enjoyed this IPA. Another great IPA from the brewers whim series that I hope never ends.

Olive green wax capped bomber. Pours a lightly hazy, dark orange-amber color. A frothy, foamy, cream colored head shows good retention, settling very slowly to a foggy film. Dense, patchy, cobweb lacing marks the glass well. Aromas include orange marmalade, candied orange peels, stale caramel malts, and wet cereal grains. Flavors show notes of butterscotch, marmalade, orange juice, and old toffee. The mouthfeel is substantial and a bit under-carbonated, with a slightly syrupy texture that gets old after a short while. Overall, this is a decent IPA, but it has several flaws that cannot be forgiven.

Bottle from d0b. Pours hazy straw with a decent white head. Aroma is wet hops with grainy malts and citrus. Muted bitterness and good malt balance. nice mouthfeel and easy to drink.
