Commercial Description:
A painfully delicious Belgian-style wit spiced with coriander and two types of orange peel. Citrusy, crisp, and very thirst quenching, this beer is slightly hazy and perfect for the beginning of spring.

On tap at Flossmoor. I have to give credit where credit is due when a brewer takes an unexciting style and creates a flawless rendition. Poured a hazy, paler golden with a deeper center.. full cap of creamy white head. Wonderful aroma as well!.. rich, peppery spices and orange peel accent sweet banana and doughy notes.. sweet, yet spicy.. warm and complex.. truly wonderful! Nice contrast between sweet and spicy again in the flavor... banana and bready notes with layers of white pepper, coriander, and orange zest surrounding.. mild diacetyl accents on the finish.. very, very tasty! Almost medium-bodied with a great contrast between the sweetness and spiciness.. refreshing, too. Great stuff!

Pours a murky, amber-hued-wheat colored body under an average-sized white head. Lemony, spiced aroma with incense notes and the zesty orange rind coming through strong. (Although at times, in conjunction with esters, it comes across a little like nail polish remover.) Thick in the mouth with a pleasant balance of pulpy/tart/citrusy fruit, dry spice, stable wheat and bready yeasts. A tingly sourness lingers long afterwards. My wife and I both found this to be a pleasant, summery quaff.

Poursa milky deep golden/yellow with an average creamy white lacing head. Aroma matched the flavors of lemon, various other citrus notes, wheat, orange and coriander. A very nice refreshing summer Wit.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a cloudy whitish-yellow color. Head was thick, white, and left some patchy lace behind. Attractive aroma of yeasty bread dough and orange zest. Initial delicate sweetness on the tongue gave way to a light acidity. Flavors wer similar to the aromas; yeasty bread dough and citrusy orange, but there was also some distinct coriander, particularly at the end. Pretty good wit.

Tap at brewery with Tom and buddies: Hazy golden hue with little head and no lace. The nose picks up a floral estery character of orange peel, coriander, clove, wheat and belgian yeast tones. Developed a vapour of ginger snaps midway through the tasting. The taste has a herbal and light sweetness at first quickly followed by some tangy citric notes with a finish of wheat bread and pale malts. The aftertaste displays a very yeasty nature. The mouth feel is sprite and clean, very refreshing and perfect for a summer day. Well done and mostly to the style. Enjoy some of this early on before hitting the bigger beers.

Sampled at Schlafly’s Repeal of Prohibition Fest along with Beerdrenched. A fine example of the style. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma has lots of smooth orange, light spice along with light banana esters. Medium body that is more rich than expected with some fairly sharp carbonation. The taste has orange / lemon citric qualities that are quite sharp with not a whole lot of spice. The finish brings some light graininess. Thumbs up for this quality witbier.

Light and tangy. Really sparkles. Light lemon and orange flavor. Some white pepper and other spices. Good, full mouth feel. Sweet but from a natural flavor, not that horrible candy flavor that so many other beers have. When the weather turns warmer give this a drink.
