Commercial Description:
Fruit beers originated in Belgium and we at The Station are proud to offer our version of these continental classics. Our light-bodied Chessie Cherry Wheat is a blend of red cherries and wheat ale, which yields a slightly sweet, yet agreeably tart, fruit ale.

Great aroma, huge cherry. Dirty light brown opacity. Flavor doesn’t totally deliver on the cherry promise of the aroma, but a nice novelty anyways.

Tap at Flossmoor. Small white head that mostly diminished, fine-small sized bubbles, excellent lacing, transparent, no visible carbonation, and a straw yellow hue. Aroma was cherries, cherries, and more cherries and sweet. Flavor was sweet and an over-the-top cherry taste. Mouthfeel was smooth and sickingly cherry sweet. Light body.

Light Orange/Gold Coloring with White Ring. Starburst Candy Cherry Aroma. Sweet Cherry Notes, Small Hint of Wheat in the Background..and Carbonation...Goes Pretty Watery with Light Wheat Afteraste and a Clean and Crisp Finish.

Slightly hazy light orange-ish gold with thin white head. Artificial cherry nose as if tablespoon of grenadine had been added. This artificiality carried into the flavor but played a less prominant role than in the aroma, balanced out a bit by the dry wheat malt and some (not much) bittering. Flavors are not well-integrated. Smooth palate. Not a big fan of this beer.

Gold color with no head. Aroma is a spot on match for cherry Starbursts. Cherry fades to the background of the taste. Definitely some candy sugar sweetness. Bitter finish.

Looked O.K., slightly hazy and golden, although virtually headless. Aromas were cough syrup and fish (maybe a problem in the kitchen?). Sweet start, sour finish... all cherry. Rather watery with a little fizz to it. It was a struggle for me.

very cherry aroma. beautiful dark, clear amber. long-lasting, creamy head. great looking beer. however, it is much too sweet, with a cloying cherry. the palate is smooth, but slippery. i can’t recommend this; it is much too cocktaily for me.
