Commercial Description:
Fruit beers originated in Belgium and we at The Station are proud to offer our version of these continental classics. Our light-bodied Chessie Cherry Wheat is a blend of red cherries and wheat ale, which yields a slightly sweet, yet agreeably tart, fruit ale.

On tap at Flossmoor. I am going against the grain apparently but I thought this was a great beer. Nice cherry aroma and taste. Not overwhelming at all.

Smells of cherry cordials. Flavor is the same with some extra creme fresh and wheat. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth. Finish is short but the sweetness lingers. I am a fan.

RBSG2003 Murky, deep golden brew. Small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma is of cherry pie and malt. Excellent! Nice cherry flavor! Lightly tart, but well-hopped and balanced. Bitter on the backside. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, lightly bitter, crisp finish.

This brew pours a small head that left a good lacing. It had a transparent yellow orange body and a mild cherry aroma. Its flavor was also that of cherry and was very smoothe. It was suprisingly good.

On tap at brewery. Orange hue with a small head that produced good lacing, light to medium-bodied. Cheeries in aroma are noticeable but not overpowering, hints of grain and yeast too. Twangy but not over the top, very refreshing fruit beer, this one blows Sam Adams version away. Try if you like a fruit beer.

The nose was very cherry, real fresh cherries. The flavor was tart and tangy at first sip softening to a nice light American style wheat. The cherry taste was very real and lasted for several minutes after drinking it.
