No head; red, fully hazy beer; Toilet desinfectant, some cooked greenery, alcohol. Sharp MF for a more ore less fruity taste, orangepeel coming out, all in all a jumble of conflicting flavours. Sharp, resiny finish. Medium bodied, feel as from acidburn. I prefer Matt’s IPA’s...

Bottle in a trade, awesome artwork. Pours a brown body with ruby hues and a tan head. Citrus Belgian spices, cinnamon. Reminiscent of SH cuvee but not as good. Lots of alcohol and hints of raisin.

Big spice nose over a dark red body. Good clarity and a thin tan head. Raisin and clove throughout with a soft citrus and clove note to the finish. A bit of excess alcohol comes through. Finish picks up a mild acidity, almost cider-like quality.

Sampled at Backus’ Backyard Bash. Murky golden brown with no head. Big old cardamom bomb, much like Stone’s 080808. Well carbonated, herbal spicy. Tasty.

Bottle... Poured foggy ruby with a beige head. Definite raisin presence in the aroma. A little sting in the palate, maybe from the alcohol. Flavors of smoked malts, raisins and other complex spices. A sweetness in the finish existed probably from the honey.

Bottle, courtesy Kevin. Pours a dark muddy brown, with thin white head and lacing. Raisin nose, citrus, some caramel, honey, brown sugar, raspberry, bread. Flavor is very unique. Raisins and honey, roast and chocolate, some currant, and a finish of brown sugar. Quite an experience. Raisin presence takes hold, very sweet and drinkable.
