On tap, and served to plastic at the Oktoberfest party. Poured an orangy amber with a modest, off white, bubbly foam head and plastic restricted but fair lacing. The nose was light Pils malt and noble aromas, with soft grain and a hint of sweetness. The flavor continued these notes with a low but noticeable hop bitterness and good carbonation A clean, sessionable brew that went very well with the tasty fest food that was offered.

on tap at FS. pours clear gold with white head. the aroma has a healthy dose of noble hops leaving a nice grassy aroma. a refreshing balance of sweet grain, biscuit, and grassy hop notes. extremely tasty and refreshing. one of the best american examples i’ve had.

Served a mostly clear, golden/amber body under a long lasting, frothily-settling white head. Mellow, balanced aroma leaning toward herbal hops and grounded by honey-touched wheat. Consistent, steady, fresh, peppery bitterness carried by a hefty body. Deceptively smooth while satisfyingly bitter, after three mug-club pints I can say this was monstrously sessionable. ~~~~~~~~~~ On draught, Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery, Flossmoor, IL.

Slightly hazy golden body a thin white head. Bready aroma with a hint of spice. Very smooth and refreshing. Malty sweet up front with bread and caramel. Finishes with a nice peppery bite. Quite enjoyable.

On tap at Flossmoor and served in a nonik. This poured a darker golden hue with a thin, bubbly white head that somewhat lasted. Decent lace. The aroma was bready, lightly sweet, and had a touch of noble hops. The flavor had sweet malt, light toast, bread, and a light herbal hoppiness. Nice, fuller body with light carbonation. Good session beer and a nice representation of the style.

Nice crisp and malty. Aroma is sweet with some hints of hops, bread and a little pepper. The only thing i didn’t like was the bread aroma and flavor. Other than that this is a solid brew.

On tap at the brewpub: This is Flossmoor’s GABF Pro-Am entry, the "Am" part being Steve Kramp of the BOSS Homebrew Club. He and brewmaster Bryan Shimkos came up with a dandy sessionable lager from Steve’s recipe. It poured a slightly hazed golden body with a smallish but sustained head. The aroma had some biscuity malt and sweet grains offset by an earthy, grassy hoppiness. Nicely balanced and medium bodied, the flavor had a first rush of the malty sweetness quickly followed by herbal, peppery hop flavors and bitterness. Very nicely done.
