#1300 Bottle thanks to Rayboy. Clear amber with off-white head. Aroma is pungent citrus, pine and dry caramel, overall very pungent hop presence. Flavor is dry caramel upfront with citrus and some tropical hops, some deeper nutty, toasted malt as well. Medium to full, creamy body, very light carbonation. A fantastic wet hopped beer, everything I’m searching for in a wet hopped product, nice and resiny and fresh.

Bomber shared by nbutler11 at the Black Friday tasting – thanks Nick! Pours dark clear gold with a one finger white head. The nose is fresh citrus and malt. The taste is citrus, toffee and light pine in the finish. Medium bodied. Nice IPA.

bottle with olive green wax shared by nbutler11 on 11/27/2009. hazy pour is a golden-yellow amber-ish color and is capped by a thin white head. the smell is spicy... mixed in are also a bit ofcitrus, woody, woodsy earth, dirt and some faint non resinous pine. the palate is really dry while the flavor matches the aroma... somewhat. it is heavy on the spice hops, dirt and moist earth. citrus, pine and malt take a back seat. the texture is smooth like mud... 6/4/6/3/13/3.2

Nose is fresh and fruity. Grapefruit, floral notes, woody, earthy hops, some butter shows up. Murky orange, light foam on top, no lace. Lightly citrusy hops, juicy, woody, leafy flavors. Toasted malts and doughy bread. Some alcohol shows up too. Decent ipa, drinks well, but doesn’t have too many interesting qualities.

22oz army green waxed cap. Hazy dark golden with flabby but sticky white head. Danky caramel, wet grass, light citrus, some malt and a touch of butter. Flat and a bit wattery. Pine butter, malty ginger, wet grass, not much bittering at all. First Flossmoor I’ve had in a bit, and really a bit of a let down.

22 oz bottle. Clear orange with a lacy white head. Nose is mandarin orange, peach, toffee and candied lemon peel. Delicate and delightful. Medium light with a sharp tingle. Taste is caramel, cantaloupe and orange peel. Pine and juniper kick in with a dry bitter finish. My new favorite Flossmoor IPA.

Imperial pint. Golden with white head. Smells soapy, fresh herbal hops. Mouth is upfront, and very pleasant. Pale biscuity malt back. Excellent bitter middle and end. Restored my faith in Shimkos’ IPA run. Great IPA.

Disappointing aroma - some bubblegum and a bit of hops. Cloudy with minimal head. Some citrus flavor, rather smooth, decent body, slight alcohol on the swallow.

Sample courtesy of nbutler. Good grapefruit aroma. Gold body with white head. Good cirus hop flavor. Thanks Nick.
