Commercial Description:
Our deep, dark, full-bodied lager. A slightly bittersweet chocolate aroma with a malty body that hints at dark fruits. It’s complex and very enjoyable with a touch of roast finish. This may be the best beer we make all year long. The bottled version is called Killer Kapowski.

tap at repeal prohibition festival at Schalfly’s. pours almost black/dark brown with a sudsy off-white head. nose is chocolate, dextrose, and lager character. The lager shows more than any brewpub baltic i have ever had. some smokey notes as well. flavors are all over the place-chocolate, lager yeast twang, with lots of bitter notes (chocolate and earthy hops). body is a little lite but not bad. long chocolate finish. pretty respectible baltic from flossmoor.

22 oz bought at brewpub. Pours dark and cola like. Lots of chocolate in the first sip. Some fruit too. Aroma doesn’t stand out, but the taste is a brown sugar/cocoa concoction. Nice. Not the football drinking beer I’m making it be...but good.
