Bottle at Noogfest courtesy of Heemer77. Pours orange amber with a white head. Nice citrusy and mango hop like aroma. This has a nice earthy toffee like maltiness to it, but also smacks you with a huge and enjoyable grapefruity bitterness. There is a good amount of residual sweetness to keep that bitterness from getting too puckering. Finishes semi-dry and peppery. Pretty kick ass Big IPA.

22 oz. bottle, from kmweaver, thanks ken! Pours hazy copper/orange, small white head. Aroma is caramel, soap, pine, grapefruit. Flavor is quite hoppy, with some malty caramel, and a dry, good finish.

22oz bottle, courtesy of multiple trades from a while ago. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy, golden amber color; thin off-white head with patchy lacing. Lots of earthy and citrus bitterness in the aroma; solid, earthy malt character underneath; generous, earthy hop goodness. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: loads of earthy hoppiness, with a complex candy sugar core; balanced at this point, and perhaps overly malts for a double IPA; presumably better fresh (I’ll be looking forward to the next batch of this). Lengthy finish: earthy hops and maltiness, candy sugar; lasting bitterness.

22 oz bottle shared by Gregis. Pour is hazed golden ruby with a 1/2 inch white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of sweet orange citrus with bitterness and some nice full maltiness. Nicely balanced nose. Taste is rounded citrus fruit - full range of grapefruit, orange, lemon, lime; very fresh, with a nice pine flavor also present. Malt is present, nicely integrated with the cornucopia of hops. Aftertaste has bitter citrus peel. Nice medium palate. Really nice beer. Full, balanced, delicious. This was the beer of the night for me. Thanks again for sharing Greg.
