| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2006 On tap at Piece. Poured damn near black with a creamy cap of tight caramel head. Coffee and darker chocolate maltage, dried coconut, and mild herbal hops provide a seductive aroma. Lots of dark chocolate at the core... with coffee flavor and bitterness at the backend... herbal hops, molasses and woodiness are also in there. Lower carbonation and powerfully smooth on the palate... bitterness was mild and hit all the right tastebuds. Bitter coffee on the finish. This was an excellent brown! heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA
