on tap brouwers big wood, 1st place overall and well deserved. The scotch flavors blended well with the dark, full flavor of the bottleworks VIII. This is an epic beer and was quick to run out at bigwood. I doubt there is much if any of this beer left, keep your eyes peeled for it at local seattle fests maybe cask beer fest

On tap at Brouwers Big Wood. I enjoyed the bottled version of the VIII , but this beer is in a class by itself. The most excellent nuances of the Laphroaig ; campfire charred wood, scotch and smoke meshed perfectly with the brews lightly sweet and earthy peat flavors. A standout at the Big Wood. In a nutshell... Fucking awesome !
