Diacatyl bombarded nose, diacatyl bombarded flavors...the nose...butterscotch and toff. The flavors, toffee and grassy hops...quite hoppy actually...but diacatyl is everwhere. I wouldn’t rate it but it seemed the brewery reps were there and serving it at the flour city brewer fest in rochester, so be it. A lesson in diacatyl awareness...should be served to anyone studying becoming a beer judge. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA

Slightly hazy, dark red brown body with quick off-white bubbles. Heavy yeast multigrain malt flavour. Boozy medium-full body. Booziness is fine but the rest is heavy.

Red is best on tap in Buffalo at the Lafayette Tap Room or Century Grill. BEERGUY007 (206), Scotia, New York, USA

It reminds of of Sam Adams Irish red, didn’t really care for that one either. very dark red, off white color head. Malty, just can’t put my finger on what i don’t like about it, but it wasn’t my favorite.
