Commercial Description:
Our American Pale Ale. Made with American pale malt for a brilliant straw gold color, American hops (Cascade) for a refreshing citrusy hop character, and our signature ale yeast for a clean smooth finish

Draft sample at Genesee Valley Beer Festival. Gold with a white head. Sweet malt aroma. Butterscotch and caramel, not much hops. Similar flavor. A bit too much butterscotch for me.

On tap at the Empire Brewfest in Syracuse. I liked this one quite a bit. Solid tasty pale ale. Not a whole lot happening but it was easy to drink. I would buy again

On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. More of a British pale ale to me. light Caramel colored. Medium hop aroma with malty presence. Taste is more malt driven with medium hop flavor. Nothing real special but drinkable

An okay pale ale...nothing I am too impressed with. I would try it again though.

Bottle. I have no idea what happened, but as I poured the hazy, gold liquid into my glass, a HUGE white head rocketed up, threatening to spill all over the room. Thinking quickly, I stopped pouring. One inch of beer, five of white foam. "Huh..." I think, "I thought this was an American Pale Ale." Anyhow, after things calm down, I check out the aroma and it is fairly grassy with a little bit of a soap tone. Flavor is like that, but thin and sharp. Almost a rubbing alcohol air to it. Not good.
