12oz bottle acquired in trade with goldtwins (thanks!!!). Poured a dark brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of wood, whiskey, vanilla, caramel, nuts, and dark fruits. Tastes of vanilla, raisins, wood, lighter whiskey, brown sugar, and caramel. I really enjoyed this one!

Poured a murky chestnut color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon oak, dried fruits, caramel malts, nuts, butter, vanilla, coconut, and alcohol. Taste of light roast, caramel, vanilla, charred wood, bourbon, dark fruits, and light alcohol in the finish. Really nice, thanks Steve!

Thanks to hopdog for sharing this one. Pours a hazy deep brown with a smaller bubbly/creamy off white head. Aroma of a tons of dark fruits, molasses, toffee, nuts, light vanilla notes, some whiskey, light alcohol and roasted almonds. Really intense aroma. Flavor of dark fruits, a little buttery, vanilla, light whiskey, caramel corn and some dark fruits. Aroma a step above the flavor. Good beer to get drunk on.

The beer pours a very dark brown amber with a thin quickly dissipating head. the nose is a heady mix of vanilla and alcohol. The taste is a slight hint of whiskey and oak with a clear sweetness and vanilla overlaid with high octane boozyness. good beer to get drunk on but nothing that great

Thanks CaptainCougar. Pours an almost black purple, almost no head at all but it stays thin the whole time. Aroma is big on the booze, vanilla and oak also. Flavor is obviously mostly bourbon, some dark fruits, vanilla, and oak. The flavors of the horn dog have been completely covered up here. Thinner mouthfeel and lower carbonation from the regular version. Not bad but it’s all whiskey.

Pours a very murky dark brown, through which light does not penetrate, with only the barest collar of foam at the endges of the glass. Aroma is huge vanilla and oak, followed by dark malts and some whisky notes. Very complex. Flavor is extremely sweet upfront, big dark malts, dark fruits (figs, dried plums and raisins), and notes of whisky. Any traces of hops have long since disappeared. Alcohol warms all the way down. Big and full bodied, aftertaste is well balanced and fades fairly quickly.

Very flavorful aroma-cork, malt, oak and alcohol. Color is a deep brown purple with minimal head. Complex amount of flavors-it starts out with grape and wood with strong maltiness then mellowed by smooth hops appearans

Big thanks to KP for sharing this rarity! Pours a deep ruby red prune juice and a thin head- light carbonation. Aroma is plum wine- sake, fruity esters, tons of sweet carame malts maple and honey hints with oaky barrel, and medium pappery oxidation. Whiskey flavor a bit high in alcohol, woody, vanilla, super sweet raisin fruity, molasses and some soy ox.
