This was a let down. Don’t know if the beer I got was a bit on the old side of things, but the hop content in either the aroma or flavor was just a poor showing. The beer pours out a standard looking orange color, hazy with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramels, light citrus hop with a bland earthy/wet-dirt aroma. Eathy/wet-dirt like malts, light citrus hops in the flavor with a standard caramel sweetness. A by-the-book APA that neither succeeds in being different or good. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA

Aroma is very citrusy hops with strong malt backbone. Flavor matches and is pretty refreshing. Decent brew. arventresca (342), Greenville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 24, 2009 Bottle. Pours amber with white head. Smell of hops. Taste is a subtle hopness not too over powering. All in all an average beer. mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2009 Light orange colour. Strong citrus aroma, lemony flavour, not grapefruit, with light bitterness. Refreshing and much more drinkable than the IIPA if that counts for anything. Heresy around here, I know. jbye4334 (710), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Medium off white head. Hoppy aroma with light alcohol. Hoppy and bitter flavor. Avg duration. Slightly metallic finish. Oily texture. Spare lacing. Moderate carbonation. OleR (2093), Oslo, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 21, 2009 Bottle from a kiosk in Vesterbrogade, Kbh. A big-bubbled offwhite head rising from a hazed, pale amber colored body. Nice hop aroma; sweet yellow grapefriut and lemon. Also some faint caramel. Taste is slightly sweet and has a good amount of earthy and citrussy hops, discreetly backed by caramellish malts. Quite mouthfilling for 5.5% beer. Fine, lingering bitterness in the finish. Elegant and well balanced. Chrism86 (279), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 19, 2009 Pours amber with a smallish off white head. Nose has caramel/toffee malt presence as well as some citrus hops. Palate translates well, malt is pretty light, not too much sweetnes. Hops drive the palate with low/medium bitterness. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 17, 2009 Pours an amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is hop forward, some nice citrus notes. Flavor is decent enough. Nice hop/malt balance. This is the kind of beer that you pick up in a cooler at a party and just drink. It’s not offensive, but it’s not a "deep" beer either.
