While the brewer did find a nice balance between malt and hops, for my taste anyways, should have used a different variety of hops. Svesse (2653), Hässelby, Sweden

Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, orange peel and balanced doses of citrussy hops. Fruity taste with caramel, nuts, toffee and orange peel. Decent amounts of citrussy hops in the finish. Slightly toasty. Well balanced, but lacking some extra punch. Very drinkable though. Bragesnak (2276), Aarhus, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Poured from bottle an amber with a medium sized slightly off-white head that faded rather quickly but left nice lacing. Aroma of sweet malt hinting at honey, some greenery, and a little bread. Flavor is lightly floral hopped with a light grass, hay, malt, and an orangy citus zing. The palate is mildly sweet, well carbonated, full malty mouth, and ends with a light powdery bitterness. Overall a nice brew that starts well, taste good, but the finish is a bit distracting. I’d drink it again but not often. Berserkir (38), New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2008 A nice copper pour, creamy head. Very malty aroma and flavor, with slight-to-medium hops. A nice compromise instead of an IPA for camping or poolside. cking (1023), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 29, 2008 Copper color, with a filmy head and spotty lacing. Mild citrus hop aroma with notes of fruit and pine. A touch of nutty caramel in the nose as well. Malty with a calm bitterness, but the filmy aftertaste is distracting. Nutty, sweet malts and subdued hops (Cascade). An interesting off flavor of celery is prominent and it sort of works well with the entire profile. Solid Pale Ale, but it just didn’t quite do it for me. TheSponge (281), Lynnwood, Washington, USA
