It was a bit bitter at first, but after a few sips, I was used to it and was happy to drink it. I would recommend this beer to anyone who likes IPA’s, but otherwise is interested in new beers. craftycarl21 (563), South Hero, Vermont, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 21, 2008 pours an orange amber with a moderate white head, high in carbonation. aroma has clear notes of honey, citrus, grapefruit, and hops. Flavor adds malt, but grapefruit becomes dominant with hops intertwined. Light palate, but enjoyable, especially in the summer. Best one out of the sampler 6 pack by flying dog so far. mkebeerparty (10), , USA

Originating in Colorado, it was hard to find in Milwaukee but I did find it somewhere in bottles. It almost tasted a little flat - not hoppy at all, but had a strong aroma. May be it tastes better on tap? Still a decent beer though and one I would recommend to try.
Awesome marketing campaign, with artwork created by Douglas Bowman, but I guess that isn’t (or shouldn’t be) the reason we drink beer???

Ottima birra. rds (230), USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 19, 2008 A traditional pale ale, with a lovely amber tone topped by a short tan head, bit a bit too hoppy fo r me. Reflection yielded more bitter notes and did not encourage further consumption. mesperon (140), Jersey City, New Jersey, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 17, 2008 Smooth, bold floral aroma, which mirors the initial floral, slightly piney hope flavor. Finishes with a citrussy twang that just bites the roof of the mouth. Hops are great, but not overpowering. Malt is present, but not too sweat or bready. Nicely balanced towards the hoppy side. Some caramell in taste but no sweetness. Not as bitter as normal american pale ales but lots of hops taste but not over powering, just plesant. Lots of taste but somewhat thin body.
