Commercial Description:
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Bottle pour from mix-pack. Pours a dark amber with average head. Aroma of caramel malt, very sweet. Some hop aroma. Flavor is bitter from beginning to end. Tons of hop flavor. Light and dry in the mouth.

Dark amber pour with some reddish tones. Bland aroma. Not much by way of malts and little thin, but the hops show through.

Yeah, this is about as classic as it gets. Whether it’s as classic as sierra nevada and donald duckin’ it, that’s up to you. Otherwise, Good pale ale.

The trend in APA’s seems to be to hpp them like iPA’s. That works for me, as I find pale ales in general to be missing many qualities of the stouts and porters I enjoy. This beer adds a fair amount of hop. But in the end, it’s still one in a crowd.

350 ml bottle. Amber color, low off-white head. Grassy hop aroma. Bitter, hoppy flavor with a medium body, dry finish. I’ve had better APA.
