As I recall, it was an average PA. Not as hoppy as I like, almost sweet. SirSlarty (68), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 16, 2008 Bottle in Augusta. Hops are present on nose and on the tongue. Thin mouthfeel and maybe a bit high in carbonation. I taste a hint of fruit on the initial flavor giving way to a bit of a watery and hoppy finish. Decent, but there are a ton better pala ales to be had. gam (1116), brisbane, Australia

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 11, 2008 A dark amber beer. Pours with little fanfare (pronounced carbonation, or foam). Has a 1/4 inch dense gelatin-like head. Aroma is moderately hoppy. Flavor is bland, doughy, and a little bitter, and mostly flat tasting. A little spice and bite develops at the end. Mouthfeel is prettey smooth. Weak lacing. Just not too exciting. A little too boring for me.
