Commercial Description:
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Bottle in Augusta. Hops are present on nose and on the tongue. Thin mouthfeel and maybe a bit high in carbonation. I taste a hint of fruit on the initial flavor giving way to a bit of a watery and hoppy finish. Decent, but there are a ton better pala ales to be had.

Bottle. Bishops Arms, Linkoping, Sweden. Pours very nice in the glass. Copper redish body. Good little begie head. Aroma is very hopy and harsh fruity. Also some nuts. Flavor and palate is pleasent! Nuts, fruity, hops and some malt. I just love the flying dogs.

A dark amber beer. Pours with little fanfare (pronounced carbonation, or foam). Has a 1/4 inch dense gelatin-like head. Aroma is moderately hoppy. Flavor is bland, doughy, and a little bitter, and mostly flat tasting. A little spice and bite develops at the end. Mouthfeel is prettey smooth. Weak lacing. Just not too exciting. A little too boring for me.

Pours a lovely clear amber with a thick head & nice lacing. Aroma is very faint hops and a light sweet brown sugar note. Definitely bitter taste right off the bat, mellows out quickly though, and butterscotch right through to the finish, with barely a hint of the initial blast of hops, though as I drink more and more of this I’m getting a definite medicinal dry-hoppy note creeping in the finish. Carastan is good for body and this beer shows it - snappy carbonation and an almost creamy thickness. A well made, if not particularly remarkable beer.

Pretty good Pale Ale. This one pours a copper, amber tinted color with a nice amount of head and lacing on the glass. Sweet hoppy aroma. Floral hoppy flavor, dry, with a nice little sweet malt taste in there. Perhaps could use a little more punch but it’s a decent session brew.
