Pours a burnt orange color with a medium white head that took its time fading. Smells faintly of hops. Tastes lightly of hops, some malt and fruit. Seemed kinda weak and watery at some points, although this could be because of the FD Double Pale Ale drank earlier in the day. Ughsmash (4032), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Bottled. Poured clear lighter orange with a light dusting of white head. The aroma was sweet and juicy with grapefruit and pine standing out.. sweeter caramel backing with just a pinch of honey.. well-presented. The flavor began with pine and citrus bitterness with sweeter grapefruit meat shortly after.. light pear and rising bitterness toward the back.. a little misplaced astringency on the back, but still solid. Lighter-bodied and crisp on the palate with heavy lingering bitterness at the finish.. could’ve used a little more carbonation. johndoughty (2159), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Clear with a medium head. Hoppy without being overpowering. To me this is a classic IPA. The hops linger well after you have finished supping. Very pleasant. treehouse (6), litchfield, Connecticut, USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 5, 2008 This is a good drinkable beer. It is a clear, copper colored beer with a nice off-white head that quickly dissipates. A caramel aroma gives way to a orange citrus hop nose which carries through to the flavor. The flavor is balanced a little toward the hops leaving your tongue with an assertive grapefruit sensation. tarjei (1753), Bryne, Norway

Flavor is hops, sweet malt and fruit. Bitter finish. The low alcohol makes it a bit thin. mistersinalin (378), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
