Commercial Description:
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Tap. Amber colour. Rather fruity on the nose. Hops and elderberries! Flavour is some sweet malts, rather fruity hops. Thin on the mid-palate. The finish has some bitterness.

pours a clear amber-orange with a thin dirty white head. smell of hops, some sweet malts, some caramel, touch of citrus. taste is light in body, earthy, some caramel, hops up front, malts in the back. overall not really much to it.

12oz bottle: caramel amber liquid with a satin, creamy, yellow head. Aromas of malt, fresh baked bread, pineapple and citrus hop character, light fruit, and a distant raisin lingering around someplace. Overall hoppy with some caramel malt. Fruit salad, citrus, caramel and licorice. Nutty in the middle and at the end. Hops carry you through from beginning to the long finish where the hops turn grassy and the caramel starts to stale just a tad. As the name says, it is a Classic Pale Ale but that also means there is nothing really to make it stand above the other many pales. Don’t get me wrong it is good, but so are many others.

These pale ales have grown on me so much over time... the first one I tried way back when, didn’t do much for me, but now it has become a style that I really enjoy. They are PERFECT summertime beers. This one had all the qualities you would expect from a good APA.. especially that prototype hop bite. This one was a little darker in color than I expected, but that was a plus for it in my book.

Bottle, 33cl. Light amber color, with a generous cloudy white head. Very fresh floral aroma with huge amounts of Cascade pushing through - a big hype for the flavor. I’m sad to say the flavor itself doesnt reach the expectations the aroma lifted, but dont get me wrong, it’s not bad. A very hoppy flavor with caramel malt, pretty standard. Medium bodied, with little carbonation, slightly on the watery side, a definite summer-brew.

Pretty caramel amber, quite thick pale head. Nicely hopped aroma with lots of grapefruit. Flavor is fruity hops and caramel malt with a bitter, a little nutty finish. Medium bodied with strong, but soft carbonation. Perhaps a bit watery, but definitely enjoyable.

normal look, normal taste, a step above the millers, and budwisers. A friend brought this back after not finding a specific beer I requested. standard ale hoppynes, not nearly as flavorful as most IPAs, but much more flavorful than San Adam’s Pale Ale. had a diverse reactions among friends.
