Commercial Description:
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

May 2006 - Beer poured with darkish orangey color and small foamy head which did leave a little lacing. Aroma was just cascade hops and the flavor was more of the same. Not overly bitter or hoppy, but not much else going on. A touch of sweet butter, maybe, not much else. Dull.

Bottle and draft at Delirium in Brussels, of all places. I’m no hophead, but I do get occasional urges for grapefruit hops. Like this beer... smells like home. Moderately bitter flavor with citrus-hop backdrop, a touch juicy, lively carbonation. Slightly dry finish and bitter aftertaste. Yet quaffable. Shows off the hops well but not overdone.

A good overall pale ale. Poured rich amber color, decent head but not a lot of retention. Good lacing. OK malt taste, but not quite enough mouth feel. Good hop nose. I’d have it again

Amber to copper in color it poured a nice head that dissipated to leave some small-bubbled lacing. The nose is dominated by citrus with a touch of sweet malt toward the back. The palate is somewhat thin and lacking concentration. It is nicely carbonated but lacks character.

Prominent flowery hop aroma, deep amber color. Bitter with a mild fruit tone, but the bitterness overpowers in the end. A decent overall beer.

Pours light amber with thicker head. Nice hop aroma mixed with fruit and a touch of citrus. Flavor is a milder version of the aroma, but well balanced.

Beautiful red color and a nice hoppy aroma that hits you during the pour. There is also a light fruit in the aroma. Maybe an apple note? Despite the aroma the flavor is actually pretty mild, but a tad watery for my tastes. Fruit is present, but hidden.

Aroma is very nice, moderate bread notes with light grapefruit and apple as well as butter. Pour is a clear sparkling bronze with a creamy off-white head. Flavor is pretty waterey. A tad astringent on the finish.
