Commercial Description:
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

This has the best Steadman drawing I have seen on a Flying Dog label yet. The beer has a good, fresh flavor - mildy bitter, yeasty, and well-hopped. A decent brew.

Pours a medium copper with a light head. Resin-pine hop dominate, some lighter fruite tones as well. Flavour is nice caramel malt Pale ale flavour and finishing with hoppy aplomb. Very tasty.

Amber color beer out of the bottle with a short lived taupe head. Nice pine hop nose. Caramel sweetness, pine hops, with light bread under it all. The bitterness in the finish adds some grapefruit rind. Solid session pale ale.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear dark copper color with a slight head. Great hop smell of pine-bud resins. Lightly carbonated with a airy mouthfeel. Slight caramel sweet, then grainy, yeasty taste. Finish is classic bitter hops. After taste is a Pac. NW hop burp. A nice Pale Ale, love that piney-bud smell.

Bottle courtesy of dpjuart. Mild malt aroma, grape skins, apples, and a bit of apricot nectar. Nice fruity nose, mildly hoppy. Dark amber-brown clear, with a foamy-rocky off-white lacing head. Medium light watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with a good amount of neutral fruitiness, mildly sweet with notes of apricot and apple. Light brown sugar. Fairly straight forward hoppy bitterness, mildly fruity, comes in to finish, leaving a light nutty-sweet bitter on the tongue. Fairly clean drinking beer, satisfying, but not a stand-out.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium frothy off white head. The aroma is hops and wheat grass. Good lacing on the glass. The taste is a sweet hops with a malty finish. A good session beer with it being real easy to drink. A good pale ale from Flying Dog.

Clear brown with a small baige head. Aroma is flowery with a good amount of caramel. Flavor is sweet and sleightly acidic, with cascade hobs comming through in the mouth aroma. Sleightly grassy bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is malt and hops. Taste is malt up front with a barely-there hop characteristic and a disappointing watery finish. No thanks.
