| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Appearance: Pours a clear, medium brown body with a small white head.
Smell: Aroma of dry, toasty biscuits and citrus with just a hint of caramel.
Taste: Mild, unassuming biscuit malt flavor with a just a bit of caramel sweetness. Light citrus hops. Fairly mild bitterness accentuated by the carbonation.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Moderate carbonation.
Drinkability: It’s not exactly what I’d call a "classic". Then again, "okay" doesn’t look as good on a bottle label. ReademNwheat (174), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 24, 2007 From a bottle. Pours a light amber color. This a a decent tasting brew from FD. Mouthfeel is a little thin and watery but is very drinkable. Not overpowering in either the malts or the hops. This could be a good crossover beer for people not into craft beers. badbeer (433), Iowa, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Amber in color with a white head that didn’t last long, and left specks of lacing. Smell is nice, a good amount of hops in the nose with a sweet malty aroma playing second fiddle. Taste is borderline 4, it’s good but after the smell I really expected to be tasting as much as I was smelling, a little disappointed, but still pretty good mind you. A little watery in the mouthfeel, average carbonation and medium body. Pretty drinkable and a nice beer here, I just was left wanting a little more. Try it, it may be just right for you. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Very crisp pale, with a mild citric quality that seems to push the beer closer to a pils than to an English or American style pale. Pretty refreshing, though not with a huge amount of character (and with a thin mouthfeel that waters down too quickly). Erdinger2003 (127), Ames, Iowa, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 8/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Appearance is pretty good actually. The head is nice, but the lacing doesn’t stick. Brown in color.
Smell is hoppy and slightly fruity.
Taste is a little watery and a little skunky.
Mouthfeel is pretty watery, but I guess even water can be good.
Drinkability isn’t so great. WillieV (191), Maryland, USA
