Commercial Description:
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Very crisp pale, with a mild citric quality that seems to push the beer closer to a pils than to an English or American style pale. Pretty refreshing, though not with a huge amount of character (and with a thin mouthfeel that waters down too quickly).

Appearance is pretty good actually. The head is nice, but the lacing doesn’t stick. Brown in color. Smell is hoppy and slightly fruity. Taste is a little watery and a little skunky. Mouthfeel is pretty watery, but I guess even water can be good. Drinkability isn’t so great.

Bottle: Poured semi dark amber. Thick Off white head. Semi sweet aroma light hint of hop. Goes down smooth much like their IPA.

A little let down, not as classic as I remember. The beer was just average, nothing to special or classic about it. Dont get me wrong though Im a big fan of flying dog, and I got this one out of the variety pack.

Clear amber red body with an off-white head. The head lasted the distance and left a few solid rings of lacing. Good nose of hops which carries through well to the taste without being too much. Fairly light sweet malt in there as well, medium body and easy to drink, decent enough for a session beer
